Kathleen DiMilla - President Kathleen is the current president and one of the founding members of EWB Newark Delaware. Actively involved with EWB since her freshmen year of college. Working in supply chain management at W.L. Gore and Associates with a background in Industrial Engineering. She’s passionate about achieving EWB’s mission to help meet people’s basic human needs through engineering solutions. Kathleen is an avid slow cooker enthusiast and can be found exploring the country and dancing when she hits her 10,000 step goal for the day.

Kim Teoli - Vice President/Project Lead Kim is the VP and Project Lead of EWB Newark Delaware. She works in the environmental planning department at Delmarva Power. Kim studied Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware, where she joined the EWB Student Chapter. She traveled with the EWB Student Chapter twice, to install a water distribution system in Cameroon. After college, she joined the Philadelphia Chapter and traveled to the Philippines to oversee a well drilling project.  Kim has also volunteered with our partner, Water is Life Kenya, and is very excited to be partnering on a water project with them!

Elissa Silverman - Treasurer Elissa is the Treasurer and one of the founding members of EWB Newark Delaware Professional Chapter. She has been involved with Engineers Without Borders since 2011 when she joined her college chapter at Lehigh University. While at Lehigh she earned a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and contributed to EWB by working on water quality testing for a project in Honduras. She currently works as a New Product Development Engineer in filtration products at W. L. Gore & Associates. Elissa is excited to create new products, whether it’s at work, in the kitchen baking or in a studio fabricating jewelry. She is excited to use her skills to help the EWB Newark Delaware Professional Chapter!

While at Lehigh she earned a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and contributed to EWB by working on water quality testing for a project in Honduras. Ashley Edwards - Chapter Secretary Ashley is the current chapter Secretary.  She began her involvement with EWB in 2015, when the chapter was first starting out.  She works as a process engineer at W.L. Gore and Associates, and she earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University.  Ashley likes to spend her free time scrapbooking, crafting, and holiday decorating.  She also enjoys baking, participating in outdoor activities, and water skiing.
